In 1950 Mr. Lauro
Raatz and his wife Sara decided to found an industry
that could offer a national product of a very high
quality.
The first years were of hard work and efforts but
the Raatz family held on with an unyielding faith
in the destiny they wanted for Paraguay.
Every
day brought new challenges that would their test characters
and temperament, but faith helped this couple find the
strength to achieve what today is Yerba Mate "Pajarito"...

The
company grew in quality and production quantities
year after year
Today new and modern automatic facilities and a
permanent staff of over one hundred workers proudly
join the production capacity of 20.000 daily kilograms
of yerba mate.
